For a new project in Portugal, Dross Engineering integrated all applicable seismic constraints for its battery shredding line from the design phase.
In accordance with Portuguese legislation, all equipment underwent a detailed seismic analysis, ensuring the safety of the installations, the stability of the structures, and operational continuity in the event of an earthquake.
This work was carried out in close collaboration with the engineering firm Abaqsys, whom we warmly thank, and in particular Davis Plazenet and Christophe Marot, for their excellent support and technical expertise.
The relevance of this approach was confirmed on February 19, 2026, when a magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck the region without impacting the installations.
This is concrete proof that anticipating technical resilience is the best way to protect industrial performance.
