Tilting Rotary Furnace

The Tilting Rotary Furnace (TRF) is the most suitable furnace for melting non-ferrous metal scrap.

Compatible with all types of non-ferrous metal scrap.
 Optimized energy consumption.
 Highest metal yield.
 Maximum productivity.

The TRFs built by Dross Engineering offer significant patented technical advantages.
 VARIGAZ heating and management equipment.
 ROTAX rotation drive system.
 Automatic thermal expansion compensator.
Fundición por gravedad automática mediante colada trasera.

The tilting rotary furnaces built by Dross Engineering have been designed for the recycling of aluminum, lead, zinc, copper, and tin in the form of various waste materials, including bulk materials, crushed materials, shot, shavings, dross, and oxides.
The rotary furnaces can also melt foundry ingots and risers. The operating temperature varies depending on the products to be processed: from 600 to 1,200°C maximum.

The "Made in France" construction is carried out in accordance with European standards.

Highly robust, very easy to use, and designed for intensive use, our TRF furnaces are a benchmark on the market.

Basically, a furnace consists of a shell placed on a frame equipped with rollers ensuring rotation.
On the front panel: a pivoting door on which the burner and chimney are installed.
The door can be opened manually or mechanically, depending on the model.
Complete emptying is achieved by tilting the furnace.

The type of refractory concrete is specifically defined according to the type of metal to be melted.
The lifespan of the refractory also depends on the melting conditions and the materials.
