Dross Engineering has been building road transport ladles for liquid aluminium for over 30 years. The ladles are highly insulated and very strong.

There have been 3 traffic accidents in France involving trucks carrying such ladles – but the ladles have never spilt their load onto the road.

Highly insulated the ladles have a range of 750 kms for a temperature loss of 80°C.

The ladles can be emptied either by special ‘safety’ tap-out or by tilting using an overhead crane.

Dross Engineering offers two models : 5 tonnes and 7 tonnes liquid aluminium.

A trailer can carry three 5 tonne ladles or two 7 tonne ladles.
